The NGHL Ann Arbor event runs Nov 13 to 15 with a five-game guarantee. Tier 2 teams play round robin with finals, so Sunday's game depends on how Friday and Saturday go. Brighton rink intel

  • Three sheets of ice, a pro shop and a concession stand with an upstairs bar and food.
  • Only one sheet has bleachers. On the other sheet you watch from upstairs behind the glass, and a few reviewers say the view is awkward.
  • The most repeated tip: it is very cold, even in the lobby, and the heaters over the spectator seats are often off. Bring a coat, blanket and a hot drink.
  • Reviewers say staff are nice, but a few found them hard to track down. Ask early if you need something.
  • A few recent reviews call the locker rooms, showers and bathrooms dirty, so pack sandals and hand sanitizer.

  • Big lobby with room for lots of players and families, large restrooms and a Biggby coffee shop on site.
  • Two sheets of ice. Reviewers like the clean, well kept building and the staff.
  • Seating is limited and mostly concrete bleachers, and several reviewers say the heaters are not turned on. Bring blankets and seat pads.
  • Recent reviews say the ice can be rough, with ruts and pits in the corners that grab pucks. Tell the girls to keep their sticks down and play the bounces.
  • Locker rooms are described as clean but very warm. Some reviewers mention the concession menu can run short, so bring snacks.
